Who can be a donor?
Any person between the ages of 18 – 65, with a body weight no less than 50 kg (110 pounds) can be a donor.
What should a donor know?
The day before giving blood, the donor cannot eat fried, greasy, spicy food and mushrooms, as well cannot smoke or use alcohol and medicine, including aspirin.

The person wishing to be a donor has to reply honestly to the question and inform the staff of any health problems. The donor will have to sign an agreement, by which he/she agrees to take interest and contact the Center to find out the result. All the information will be confidential.
Is there any danger to giving blood?
Blood donation is harmless. It stimulates and rejuvenates the elements in the blood and makes you feel better. 470 ml of blood are taken from the donor, such a small amount doesn’t leave any effect on the donors health. One session last 5 to 8 minutes.
All the equipment is disposable and sterile and cannot cause any infections.
