The Pathomorphology laboratory conducts biopsy and surgical material histological pathologic process diagnostic examinations, using the hematoxylin tissue coloring method, as well as the histochemical (conjunctive tissue, muscle tissue, etc.) and immunohistochemical methods.

The Laboratory is equipped with all the necessary equipment for inclusive histotechnological procedures ( histologic tissue processing, rotating microtoms, thermostats, microscopes, etc.).

The Hospital`s Morgue performs patanatomic autopsies including histological and histochemical examination of tissue. The Morgue is equipped with the newest preservation technologies and a full functioning Chapel.
